Artistic since childhood, Joy is trained in numerous media
including acrylic, oil and pastels.
She studied Architecture at The University of Texas at
Austin but later found decorative painting to be her true
passion hence the launch of Scribbles.
Her work has adorned the walls of residences and model
homes throughout the Houston area. Commercial projects
include: Kids R Kids Learning Centers, Fellowship of The
Woodlands, Faith Family Baptist Church, Northeast
Houston Baptist Church, Memorial Church of Christ, Grace
Community Church, Northwest Bible Church, Aldine ISD,
Atascocita ISD, Oxford Learning Center, Beyond
Boundaries Pediatric Therapy Center, Mario's Mexican
Restaurant, Gios Italian Grill, De Ja Vu Restaurant,
Learning Express Toy Store, The Laurel Tree Gift Shop
among others.
